We act through actions: the sale of a large series of bracelets for men and women made in 100% cotton with a silver stamp as a symbol of the professional activity, which we have initiated with our first commercial/solidarity advance. The funds collected will be shared between various NGO’s with water and water treatment projects in Africa. In the future, there will be other projects put into action.

AMBILAMP
A private, non-profit association, which has as its goal the promotion of the defense of the environment through the creation and function of an integrated management system dealing with lamp residues. The designer Chus Burés will produce a collection of jewelry for this project.
ARPA
A company that manufactures mobile campaign equipment for the armed forces, with whom Chus Burés will design transportable housing for young people of limited means who decide to settle away from urban centres.
GROBER
A manufacturer of faucets that bases itself on a sustainable approach to its products, for which Chus Burés will produce some designs.

HOW WE WORK
We work with those who wish to act to transform the concept of design. Chus Burés H2O for Africa trusts in the transforming capacity of the facts. Because of this, our work focuses on two principal lines, each one of which is directed to demonstrate to the distinct sectors of society, that other design practices in terms of conception, production and its consumption, are possible.
WE COLLABORATE
In a world increasingly global, where social, economic and environmental problems grow in complexity and extension, our association studies the principal challenges that face the practice of design, to raise awareness within it of the climatic changes, the scarcity of drinking water and the excessive consumption of natural resources; we think of possible solutions and collaborations with an effective and multi-disciplinary focus.

We create opinion through cultural events and presentations of the project Chus Burés H2O for Africa, as in the publication of pamphlets and articles in the press, with the object of spreading its vision of a sustainable design to influence business people, public sector bodies and further still, society in general.

Chus Burés H2O for Africa is a private, non-profit independent association with a global mission, in which we focus our activity on the problems that exist in some African countries with their access to water resources. We centre our work on responsible action and in favour of the sustainability of creative practices related to design.
